Domaine Michel Arcelain is located in the heart of the Burgundy climates in Pommard in the Côte de Beaune. Pierre & Charlotte Fihman-Arcelain, a new generation of passionate winemakers, are happy to continue the family estate. After a few years of training in the greatest estates of Burgundy, Pierre took over with his wife Charlotte the estate of his grandparents, Michel and his wife Marie Madeleine Arcelain. From the vine to the wines, their ambition is to showcase the best terroirs of Burgundy! The History of the Estate: In 1889, Jules Arcelain took over the family business and modified the plots during the phylloxera crisis. He replanted the famous grafted grape varieties: - Pinot noir - Chardonnay He then passed on his know-how, knowledge and terroir to his son who in turn passed it on to his children. The plot has therefore evolved over time and generations. Subsequently, Michel and Marie-Madeleine Arcelain took over the estate and operated it for many years. Since 2020, the estate has skipped a generation and is now operated by grandson Pierre and his wife Charlotte Fihman Arcelain.
